Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to provide person-centered care and support to our clients in their own homes. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with various aspects of daily life, including personal cares, meal preparation, household management tasks, and teaching life skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal cares, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients
  • Assist clients with household management tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping
  • Teach clients new skills, such as cooking, budgeting, and time management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full driver's license
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
