About the Role

IHC Group supports adults with intellectual disabilities to live in their own homes and enjoy life as part of their communities. We are seeking a Support Worker to provide assistance to individuals in developing their independence and acquiring skills for daily living.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care is preferred but not essential
  • Full training and orientation will be provided to individuals who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
  • Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
  • A Full NZ driver's license
