Mental Health Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with individuals who require support with mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and build strong relationships with the people we support.
  • Assist individuals with daily tasks such as showering, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviors.
  • Previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A full NZ driver's license.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $23.84 - $29.10, depending on relevant qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to earn more as you gain qualifications.
