The role of Clinical Nurse Specialist - Wound offers a unique opportunity to work in the community and support patients with complex wound care needs. As part of the Whangarei District Nursing Team, you will work in partnership with referred patients and their whānau, as well as multidisciplinary teams across various services.

This is a strategic role that requires an expert in assessment skills, diagnostic reasoning, and management options. You will have specialist knowledge in complex wound care, lower limb management, and related health conditions. Essential to this role is a strong educational focus, where you will work in partnership with District Nursing teams to develop education initiatives.

We are seeking a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate and relevant postgraduate tertiary qualification or experience. This position is based in Whangarei but may require travel around the region. Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
