Job Title: Specialist Maternal Mental Health Consultant

Overview: Global Medics APAC is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for short- or long-term locum work within the Maternal Mental Health services in New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health issues related to pregnancy and childbirth.

Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily rate of $1500 per day, commensurate with their experience and qualifications. Additionally, they will enjoy flexible work-life balance, ongoing 24/7 support from the Mental Health team at Global Medics, and transport and accommodation costs included.

Job Description: As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with maternal mental health issues, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. You will also contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve maternal mental health services.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must possess vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) or eligibility to apply FRANZCP or equivalent and be able to register for specialist registration with the MCNZ. If not registered in New Zealand, our dedicated Mental Health team will guide you through the registration process.
