As a Lifestyle Coordinator at The Helier by Oceania, you'll play a key role in creating an engaging and enriching environment for our residents. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing resident wellbeing and event experiences that promote connection, creativity, and overall wellbeing.

You'll work closely with our residents to understand their needs and preferences, and develop programs that cater to their interests. You'll also collaborate with our food and beverage team to enhance themed events and provide lifestyle-appropriate culinary experiences.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in event planning and management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. They will be responsible for assisting residents during their transition to our care residences, providing event and resident experience services, and working closely with the Together App to ensure seamless access to programs and bookings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents during their transition to our care residences
  • Provide event and resident experience services based on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing framework
  • Develop and publish a monthly calendar of events
  • Collaborate with the food and beverage team to enhance themed events
  • Anticipate residents' needs and understand their preferences

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in event planning and management
  • Creativity to design and implement successful resident events and experiences
  • Enthusiasm for entertaining and a genuine passion for understanding residents' needs
  • Excellent attention to detail, patience, organisation, and punctuality
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and high level of professional integrity
  • Full NZ Driver's License and comfortability with driving a large van
