Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Memory Care Programming Coordinator to develop and implement programs that cater to the unique needs of our residents.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Memory Care Programming Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing community programming that promotes socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity among residents.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to create personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Overseeing event planning, scheduling, and execution, including trips, meetings, and group functions.
  • Coordinating with external organizations and community groups to enhance programming and engagement opportunities.
  • Editing and producing a monthly community newsletter to keep residents and families informed about upcoming events and activities.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in knowledge of aging and dementia.
  • Qualifications and training to develop a robust calendar of programs for elders and persons with dementia.
  • CPR certification (if required).
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
