Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Programmes Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programmes and events that engage the public and promote community development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver programmes and events that align with the council's strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with local communities, stakeholders, and partner organisations to develop effective partnerships.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the delivery of library services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-level qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as community development, library services, or social sciences.
  • Proven experience in programme management, community engagement, and facilitation.
  • Excellent digital skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Auckland Council offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $63-74k, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including:
