Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our Community Health Service in Manukau Locality. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in physiotherapy and experience working in a community health setting. They will be able to lead and support the development of our physiotherapy services, provide clinical leadership and mentorship to team members, and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supporting the development of our physiotherapy services
  • Providing clinical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Contributing to the development of new policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practising certificate
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience post-registration
  • Solution focused, team player with excellent communication skills
  • Passion for working in a person/whanau centred way to provide excellent care
  • Sound computer skills
  • Full, clean driver's licence
  • Experience in both hospital and community setting
  • Evidence of post graduate study
  • Advanced assessment and leadership skills
  • Evidence of contributing to service development initiatives
