We are offering an exciting leadership role as a Physiotherapy Practice Supervisor within the Allied Health Community Physiotherapy Team. Based at Greenlane Clinical Centre and Kahui Marino (Pt Chevalier Clinical Hub), this full-time, permanent position combines clinical practice with operational and professional leadership responsibilities. The chance to make a tangible impact on clients' recovery and independence. This role is perfect for a physiotherapist with a strong clinical background, leadership skills, and a passion for team development and client-centred rehabilitation.
- Leadership: Provide clinical and operational oversight to a team of physiotherapists, fostering excellence and continuous professional growth.
- Service Development: Drive quality improvements and contribute to the evolution of the Community Physiotherapy Service.
- Clinical Practice: Manage a clinical caseload, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-informed care.
- Collaboration: Partner with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, clinical psychologists, and therapy assistants. Work closely with other Allied Health Practice Supervisors for support and guidance.
The Community Allied Health Team is a large multidisciplinary service for adult clients who have physical health and disability needs and live in the Central Auckland region. Our Physiotherapists work in multidisciplinary locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services within the Te Tokai Tumai Auckland community providing integrated care that is coordinated around the client and their needs.
As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Is a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with a current APC and driver's licence
- 7+ years of clinical experience, mentoring and coaching experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in clinical reasoning and evidence-informed practice.
- Strong supervision, leadership, and time-management skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and bicultural environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a flexible and proactive approach
