Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Aboriginal Youth Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Riverina Medical and Dental Aboriginal Corporation. The successful candidate will work with families of children aged 0-17 years in the Riverina region, providing intensive clinical treatment services.

The role involves delivering evidence-based models for families with complex mental health needs, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of culturally inclusive practices and a proven ability to deliver services in a respectful manner.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, or a related mental health field
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver services in a culturally inclusive and respectful manner to Aboriginal families
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data collection
  • Emotional intelligence, high-level interpersonal skills, time management skills, and flexibility to handle crises
