Sudima Queenstown is a 4.5-star hotel situated in the heart of the Five Mile retail precinct, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and serving up high-quality cuisine in our vibrant restaurant, Podium.

This role guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week from $25-26 per hour and provides opportunities for career development and growth. If you're passionate about food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and thrive on delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure all necessary ingredients are stored properly
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve exceptional service standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests

Requirements:

  • Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts over a 7-day week including public holidays
  • Professional personal presentation and work ethic
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Enjoys cleaning and kitchen prep work
  • Be enthusiastic and show initiative
  • Highly organized
  • Great communication skills and a passion for being part of a hardworking team
  • Valid right to work in New Zealand
