We are seeking flexible team players to work as casual catering assistants, supporting our food service operations at New Plymouth Girls' High School.

About the Role

This role involves assisting with food preparation, service, and clearing away afterwards, working safely in an industrial kitchen under the direction of a chef manager.

You will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is safe and hazard-free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with food preparation and cooking, adhering to menu requirements and health and safety guidelines.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and queries in a friendly and approachable manner.
  3. Contribute to a clean and organized kitchen environment, including dishwashing, waste disposal, and general housekeeping tasks.
