About the Role
This permanent role is based at our modern Newmarket office, close to public transport and a short stroll to local cafés and shops. As a resource consents planner, you will be working to manage and obtain consents for Watercare's assets as well as providing support and advice to other areas of the business.

Your Key Activities
  1. Manage and obtain resource consents across a range of water and wastewater projects.
  2. Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including mana whenua groups, regulators, and environmental groups.
  3. Provide expert advice and facilitate technical and specialist services to support the business.

What You'll Need
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in resource consent planning.
  • Sound understanding of the Resource Management Act and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong customer focus and ability to work collaboratively with others.
