About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Resource Consent Planner to join our team in the beautiful Coromandel. This is an exciting opportunity for a planning professional with significant experience and expertise to apply their skills in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess complex resource consent applications and manage environmental planning initiatives.
  • Mentor colleagues and provide support to the Development Planning Team Leader.
  • Develop reports and recommendations for Council committees and provide strategic advice to support Council's functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build sound relationships. They will possess a good understanding of key Local Government legislation, excellent literacy and report writing skills, and great organisational and prioritising skills.
