Role Overview

The Procurement Lead will be responsible for leading the procurement of a large ERP solution, embedded in a scaled Enterprise Business Capability project. This role requires managing all aspects of the procurement process, including running the RFP process, preparing procurement documentation, and maintaining probity throughout the procurement process.

About the Team

The Procurement and Supply Team provides a centre-led procurement function that works to achieve enterprise-level outcomes from over $450 million of procurement spend per annum across 1,600 domestic and international suppliers. The team empowers a more sustainable energy future for New Zealand by providing expert procurement and commercial management capability, enabling supply chain functions to operational divisions, and driving both financial and non-financial benefits over the long term.

The Opportunity

As the ERP Procurement Lead, you will work day-to-day within the project team and report to the Strategic Commercial Manager. You will lead organisation-wide change and manage projects in the Enterprise Business Capability Programme, including specific responsibility for delivery of the EBC platform and associated works. A major component of this transformation will be the implementation of an organisation-wide ERP system.
