**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Transformation Programme Manager to join our Transformation Programme team. As a key member of the programme, you will play a critical role in shaping our commercial strategy and relationships with vendors and partners.
You will provide commercial oversight and direction, leading complex negotiations and vendor performance management. Your expertise in commercial management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement will help us achieve our vision of delivering efficient and effective services to over a million New Zealanders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead commercial engagements with vendors and partners to drive business growth and development
- Develop and implement best practice commercial management strategies across the programme
- Provide commercial oversight and direction, leading complex negotiations and vendor performance management
**Requirements:**
- Proven track record in commercial management, contract negotiation, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in public sector or private context, with a working knowledge of New Zealand Government procurement policy and DIA digital policy and processes
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others in good commercial/contract management
