Job Overview
Waikato District Health Board is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Te Kuti. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rural setting, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with surgical, orthopaedic, medical, and neurological needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' functional independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Manage your own caseload, including stroke rehabilitation
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the New Zealand Occupational Therapy Board
- Enable housing and wheelchair level 1 accreditation (training provided if required)
