Job Overview

Waikato District Health Board is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Te Kuti. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rural setting, providing high-quality care to patients with a range of conditions.

Responsibilities

  1. Assess and treat patients with surgical, orthopaedic, medical, and neurological needs
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' functional independence
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  4. Manage your own caseload, including stroke rehabilitation

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the New Zealand Occupational Therapy Board
  • Enable housing and wheelchair level 1 accreditation (training provided if required)
