We are currently seeking a highly skilled Compliance Inspector to join our Developer Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to balance your time working between our Newmarket offices and onsite.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the construction industry on-site for pre-construction meetings, inspections/audits, and final inspection meetings to support the approval of newly constructed public assets.
- Work closely with a wide range of people, including contractors, consultants, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that the creation, extension, and relocation of the water and wastewater network is constructed as per the Auckland Council (AC) and Engineering Plan Approval (EPA), ensuring work is done to meet the compliance statement policy and specifications.
Requirements:
- Technical qualification in engineering or trade certificate equivalent.
- 5 - 10 years' experience in an engineering or construction role.
- Experience in site supervision and construction, and/or water/wastewater industry experience is ideal.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse customers.
