We are seeking a highly skilled Team Leader Environmental Monitoring North West Auckland to lead and manage a team of compliance staff while providing high-quality and customer-focused compliance service for the district and regional consents that will lead to positive environmental outcomes for Auckland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the case management of all compliance in their area, including regional and complex consents (major projects, network consents), overseeing the implementation of a risk management approach to guide the delivery of compliance services, and providing technical expertise to the team.

This position will contribute to the development of strategic initiatives for the compliance function, which are focused on business improvements and proactive initiatives that are targeted to reduce risk and improve environmental outcomes.

The ideal person will have a related tertiary qualification, significant experience in a regulatory-related environment, and a demonstrated background in leadership.

We offer a range of employee benefits and proudly support flexible working options where possible. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $118,000 plus KiwiSaver and benefits.
