This Senior Compliance Officer role focuses on stormwater compliance, requiring significant experience in regulatory compliance, especially in investigations and enforcement within government or regulatory settings.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide high-quality service through investigations, breach resolution, remediation activities, and enforcement actions in relation to the Resource Management Act, Building Act, and relevant bylaws.
  2. Support the team to reduce ongoing compliance issues.
  3. Enjoy flexible working arrangements and work in the field.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of the RMA, Building Act, and Council Bylaws.
  • Effective communicator, strong team player, and dedicated to continuous learning.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office.
