**Role Summary**

We are looking for a Senior Stormwater Expert to join our Healthy Waters & Flood Resilience department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in addressing water quality issues across the Auckland Region.

**Key Accountabilities**

  • Develop and improve scientific methods and tools to understand and predict stormwater quality impacts and evaluate management strategies.
  • Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Manage water quality data and generate intelligence on recreational water quality issues.
  • Contribute to the documentation, publication, and peer review of scientific methodologies and findings.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of relevant work experience in water quality modelling, including 4 years in the stormwater industry or research.
