As a Senior Associate at MinterEllisonRuddWatts, you will be part of a high-performing and supportive team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional results in environmental law and resource management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental and resource management law, with experience in litigation, project consenting, and advising on climate change issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice to clients on environmental and resource management matters
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to advise on the environmental implications of property and corporate transactions
  • Assisting with planning submissions and regulatory compliance
  • Undertaking specialist environmental litigation within the firm

Requirements
  • At least 7 years' legal experience from another leading law firm
  • A strong background in environmental and resource management law, including some litigation experience
  • A New Zealand practising certificate / the right to practice law in New Zealand
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
