As a Health and Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure the well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our team in the New Zealand Pacific region. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HSE Management Systems across multiple sites
  • Providing expert advice on health and safety matters to senior management and stakeholders
  • Maintaining relationships with key business stakeholders and government agencies
  • Managing and coaching a team of HSE professionals
What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in health and safety management, with at least 5 years in a similar role within the NZPac region
  • Strong understanding of ISO 45001/AS/NZ 4801 and ISO 14001 certifications, including system auditing
  • Experience working in a consultancy business
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
