About the Role: CPG Hotels is seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join our Corporate Office Team on a fixed-term basis until May 2025. Reporting to the Group Human Resources Manager, this part-time role involves providing administrative support for HR functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, and employee records management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for HR functions, including job advertising, initial screenings, and reference checks
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in Zambion
  • Process payroll information, including new hires, terminations, and changes
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of HR compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as recognition programs and policy updates
  • Assess training needs and monitor training programs

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in HR administration or a similar role
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or psychology
  • Good understanding of basic New Zealand employment laws and regulations
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with MS Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams
