Contact Energy Ltd is seeking an exceptional Human Resources Specialist to join our People Experience (PE) team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that drive employee engagement and retention.

About the Role

This 6-month fixed-term contract role involves working closely with our business leaders, HR Business Partners, and HR Advisors to deliver various projects within the People Experience team. Your primary focus will be on employee relations, coaching leaders, managing performance issues, and supporting employees and People Leaders with complex queries.

You will have the opportunity to apply your HR expertise to improve our HR policies, procedures, and processes, and contribute to the embedding of change within the organisation.

About You

You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships quickly, and have a deep understanding of human behavior. You should have experience in employment relations, preferably in a large commercial organisation, and be commercially savvy.
