About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Executive - SME Banking. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new business opportunities with small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in New Zealand. Your primary objective will be to ensure ASB provides needs-based banking solutions to these businesses, meeting their financial needs and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand the SME market and leverage your network to identify new business opportunities.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with SME customers, providing tailored banking solutions to meet their needs.
3. Prepare credit and lending submissions according to banking procedures and policies.
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will require a solid understanding of the SME market, excellent communication and influencing skills, and a broad knowledge of the banking and finance industry. Your experience as a business banker, combined with a strong understanding of banking procedures and policies, will demonstrate your ability to deliver technical skills required for this position.
