About the Job

We are currently seeking an experienced Social Work Professional to join our Intensive Case Management team in Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary group to contribute to a culture of care within a therapeutic environment that is relational, restorative, and inclusive.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide social work services that respond to the needs of rangataki, promote their safety, wellbeing, and support a reduction in offending. You will also support engagement with whānau, working collaboratively to develop and implement plans that meet the unique needs of each child.

To be successful in this role, you must have a sound knowledge and understanding of all systems that affect day-to-day care and support of rangataki, as well as the ability to think creatively and approach problems from different angles.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified, registered, and experienced social worker who wants to make a real difference by putting rangataki at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

As a Social Work Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to a culture of care within a therapeutic environment that is relational, restorative, and inclusive.

* Providing social work services that respond to the needs of rangataki, promoting their safety, wellbeing, and supporting a reduction in offending.

* Supporting engagement with whānau, working collaboratively to develop and implement plans that meet the unique needs of each child.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a full, clean New Zealand driver's licence, a Social Work qualification recognised by New Zealand's Social Worker Registration Board (SWRB), and provisional or full registration with SWRB.
