We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients. As a key member of our Allied Health department, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver holistic care and support.

About the Position
This permanent part-time role (0.5 FTE) involves working 40 hours per fortnight. You will have the flexibility to work from either Thames Hospital or Waihi Community base, depending on the needs of the service.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Accountabilities

  • Providing occupational therapy services to clients in their homes and on the inpatient ward
  • Managing your own caseload and waitlist
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Essential Skills and Experience
* At least 12 months post-qualification experience as an occupational therapist* Sound clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence-informed practice* Effective time management, prioritization, and organization skills* Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups
