Barry Callebaut is a world-leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products, operating across more than 60 production facilities and 25 CHOCOLATE ACADEMY centres worldwide.
About the Role
This Trade Development Specialist role will be responsible for leading both B2B and Foodservice business through NZ and the Pacific Islands, leveraging a strong existing network to unlock opportunities with food manufacturing customers.
Working closely with Barry Callebaut's gourmet distributor, you will drive growth through bakery / patisserie accounts, along with hotels, restaurants and cafes. Reporting into the Managing Director – South Pacific, you will be working closely with your Australian colleagues including Operations and Supply Chain partners.
About You:
You will have a proven track record in driving B2B growth in the food industry, with existing networks through food manufacturers to tap into. As a standalone employee in the NZ market, you will be a comfortable self-starter, and motivated to go out and win business / represent Barry Callebaut alone.
You will have experience managing distributors, setting KPIs and holding them to account. You can act quickly and build relationships with people at all levels, particularly with specialist food preparers such as chefs or bakers.
