Job Description:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to children and adolescents in a hospital setting
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Use innovative approaches to occupation-focused practice across the rehabilitation journey
  • Develop knowledge of child development and skills in whanau family-centered practice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NZ registration as an Occupational Therapist with current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Sound knowledge and skills in applying occupational therapy knowledge, skills, and values
  • Innovative and able to communicate with others in complex decision-making
  • Motivated to develop own as well as the teams' professional practice
