Key Responsibilities
- Advocacy and facilitation for Māori community members accessing our service
- Facilitation of hui using Tikanga as a communication tool
- Educator to the service on Te Ao Māori and best practices for Māori whānau
- Support good relationships and knowledge of the local community, particularly with Māori providers

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Te Reo Māori, Tikanga, and Kawa o Tainui
- Strong advocacy and facilitation skills utilising Tikanga Māori
- Ability to interpret for whānau Māori and support whānau Māori to communicate with the wider team
- Willingness to role model 'Tikanga Best Practice'
- Ability to provide education to clinicians on Te Ao Māori and best practices for Māori whānau
