About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Hamilton. As a Technical Field Officer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our clients in agriculture.
Your primary focus will be on crop management, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible advice and solutions for their farming needs.
You will work closely with our local retail team to support key relationships and customers, and use technology to strategically plan and execute seasonal planning with shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide frontline support from our technical extension team in agronomy and land production
- Work closely within our local retail team in the Hamilton branch to support key relationships and customers
- Use technology to your advantage to strategically plan and execute seasonal planning with shareholders
About You
- You'll bring a depth & breadth of experience within agriculture with a strong focus on crop management
- You'll be effective at developing long-lasting business relationships and be focused on providing profitable solutions
- You will be adept at using latest technology - Mobile, iPad, Laptop, industry Apps, with the ability to continually upskill in this ever-changing landscape.
- You will possess knowledge of farming systems and a real passion for the rural sector.
- Your skill set will allow you to talk farming with anyone and will complement your excellent communication and relationship building skills
