Community Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Stakeholder Liaison Coordinator to join our team in Morrinsville for the Eastern Waikato Network Outcomes Contract. This contract covers the Hauraki Plains - Coromandel Peninsula region, encompassing 530 kilometers of State Highways with diverse road types including remote coastal roads, rugged logging roads, and heavily populated tourist bus trails.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will support the contract team in maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with our local community and key stakeholder groups, enabling the contract to achieve its operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain effective working relationships, internally and externally, through confident communication and issue resolution.
- Liaise with the wider team to ensure seamless collaboration and shared goals.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in road maintenance or infrastructure processes or similar operations preferred.
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to manage time across multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal, written, and listening skills for communications, document preparation, and report writing.
- Proficient computer ability.
- Attention to detail to deliver high-quality work.
