About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student and Community Engagement/Recruitment Adviser to join our Schools and Community Engagement Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the recruitment of new students into the university, through targeted events on and off campus in schools or community groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase student engagement and recruitment, including the development of marketing materials and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with faculty members to understand their needs and provide support to ensure successful student recruitment and retention.
- Conduct outreach activities to engage with local communities and promote the university's programs and services.
- Provide advice and guidance to students and families on the university's programs and services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree and/or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, knowledge, and training.
- Experience developing, maintaining relationships with, and understanding the needs of key stakeholders.
- Agile experience, or an understanding of cross-function team ways of working in an agile environment.
- Demonstrable understanding, competence, and confidence in te ao Māori.
