Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Drug and Alcohol Testing Coordinator. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effective coordination of AOD testing.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with Community Probation sites and AOD testing providers to book and coordinate tests;
- Providing expert guidance and procedural advice regarding AOD Testing to Front Line staff;
- Monitoring and escalating issues and trends to ensure appropriate follow-up can be taken;
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the AOD testing practice and continuous improvement within the Department;
- Working cooperatively with Probation Officers and other key stakeholders to report to and respond to instances of non-compliance;
- Coordinating AOD testing with Community Corrections staff;
- Supporting team members by ensuring they understand and meet procedural expectations, answering their questions within their area of knowledge, and providing them with coaching, ongoing development, and learning opportunities, and monitoring their progress and performance;
- Recording tests and maintaining PC-based databases, including the ability to produce ad hoc reports as required.
