At Marsh, we're seeking a talented Claims Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role will be based in one of our Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch offices. As a Claims Coordinator, you'll play a vital part in managing low-risk claims for injured employees.
You'll be responsible for contacting claimants daily to guide them through the right and appropriate treatment and rehab. Strong administrative and communication skills are essential for this role.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office on completion of training. You'll work closely with case managers to implement and deliver services that meet quality standards. Your tasks will include coordinating and facilitating cover and entitlement services to provide timely and cost-effective solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage claims for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with SLA, AEP audit standards, and legislation.
  • Support case managers in the implementation and delivery of services to meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate appropriate cover and entitlement services to provide timely and cost-effective solutions for clients.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in claims management or equivalent experience in a relevant health discipline or administration.
  • Commitment to the philosophy of a case management model of practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
