Our Organisation

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Information Coordination & Claims Specialist to join our Historic Claims team. This fixed-term opportunity will see you working in a Wellington CBD location, covering two key functions within Historic Claims: individual claim assessments and personal information requests.

In this role, you will use available information relevant to the claimant to conduct an assessment of their claim against the Historic Claims assessment framework and provide recommendations to support decision making. You will also be responsible for providing timely responses to requests for information, reading, reviewing, and releasing claimants' personal information to them while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who have been abused in State care. As part of our team, you will work collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for claimants and ensure that they encounter a positive experience every time they interact with us.
