About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Central West Community Engagement team as a Regional Engagement Coordinator. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to our local Area Committees in the Waipa King Country District.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support, resolving queries, processing invoices, and handling general administrative tasks.

You will also develop community impact plans, coordinate with support networks, assist in community engagement activities, facilitate learning opportunities, and participate in promotional and fundraising efforts.

This role is based in Hamilton and offers a hybrid working model. You will be provided with a laptop and mobile phone to enable you to work flexibly. Travel may be required from time to time, so a full clean driver's licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial and administrative support to Area Committees
  • Resolve queries and process invoices
  • Develop community impact plans and coordinate with support networks
  • Assist in community engagement activities and facilitate learning opportunities
  • Participate in promotional and fundraising efforts

Requirements:

  • Previous administration and basic accounting experience
  • Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence in working across the MS Office Suite
  • A strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of professionalism and a 'can-do' attitude
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours occasionally
  • A full clean New Zealand driver's licence
