As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in helping these companies achieve their digital transformation ambitions through SAP and our extensive ecosystem of partners.
This position not only allows you to bring a unique point of view to customer engagements but also enables you to leverage all available resources to solve customer problems with a broad range of offerings from SAP.Account and Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Cloud Subscription RevenueAnnual Revenue - Achieve/exceed quota targets.Sales strategies - Align SAP Cloud/SaaS solutions with the customer's strategic objectives.
Develop and execute best practice dynamic account plans to ensure revenue target delivery and sustainable growth.Trusted advisor - Establish strong management and executive relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value.Customer Acumen - Actively understand each customer's technology footprint and strategic growth plans.Territory and Account Leadership - Lead designated territory, including accounts and sales cycles.Business Planning – Develop or contribute to business plans and strategies.Demand Generation, Pipeline and Opportunity ManagementPipeline planning - Maintain a rolling pipeline.Pipeline partnerships – Leverage support organizations to funnel pipeline into the assigned territory.Leverage SAP Solutions – Be proficient in all SAP offers.Advance and close sales opportunities - through successful execution of the sales strategy.Support all SAP promotions and events in the territory.Sales ExcellenceBuild and share best practice sales and negotiation skills.Maintain White Space analysis and execution of initiatives on customer base.Orchestrate resources: deploy appropriate teams to execute winning sales.Utilize best practice sales models.Understand SAP's competition and effectively position solutions against them.Maintain CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline information.Leading a (Virtual) Account TeamDemonstrate leadership skills in the orchestration of local and remote teams.Ensure account teams and Partners are well versed in each account's strategy.Maximize the value of all sales support organizations.Experience10+ years of experience in sales of complex business software/IT solutions.Proven track record in business application software sales.Experience in lead role of a team selling environment.Demonstrated success with large complex transactions.Exceptional contractual and negotiation skills.Business level English: Fluent.Please NoteOnly applicants with PR and or New Zealand Citizenship will be considered.The role is based in Auckland, New Zealand.Bring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.We win with inclusionSAP's culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone feels included and can run at their best.SAP is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their age, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, protected veteran status, or disability.Successful candidates might be required to undergo a background verification with an external vendor.Requisition ID: 414080 | Work Area: Sales | Expected Travel: 0 - 10% | Career Status: Professional | Employment Type: Regular Full Time
