Together, we're on a journey to see communities transformed and futures reimagined through compassion, connection, and action.Visionwest's Community Housing service is actively addressing the issue of homeless in New Zealand by providing safe, quality, affordable rental accommodation for low-income families who cannot access Government-supplied accommodation or afford a private rental.Mo te turanga | About the roleLeading the administration team, your focus will be to provide guidance, develop policies and ensure productivity within the team.
This team provides the back office administrative support to our housing operations team, so that they can focus on working directly with whanau in need.Key responsibilities of the Lead Housing Administrator role include:Guiding and supporting your team members.Liaise between the team and management to communicate feedback and suggestions for improvements.Tenancy administration – assist with invoicing, managing repairs and maintenance, record keeping and tracking payments from tenants.Credit card reconciliation.General administration – event coordination, travel planning, correspondence, reporting and responding to queries.Onboarding – working with the recruitment team to onboard new staff.As an experienced administrator you will have great attention to detail and understand how to mange confidential information in an appropriate way.Qualifications and experience we are looking for include:Undergraduate certificate or diploma level with relevant work-related experience.Previous supervisory and administration/coordination experience.Computer literacy, especially with the Microsoft suite.Strong interpersonal skills.The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.He aha tau e whiwhi ai?
