Our Community Housing service addresses homelessness by offering safe, quality, affordable rental accommodation for low-income families who cannot access government-supplied accommodation or afford private rentals.

About the Role

The Lead Housing Administrator will play a crucial role in overseeing the administration team, ensuring productivity, and providing guidance. This role will enable our housing operations team to focus on working directly with families in need.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the administration team, ensuring high levels of productivity and performance
  • Liaise between the team and management to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure timely and accurate tenancy administration, including invoicing, repairs, and maintenance
  • Manage credit card reconciliation and other general administration tasks
  • Support the onboarding process for new staff and ensure a seamless transition into the team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Relevant undergraduate certificate or diploma level with work-related experience
  • Proven supervisory and administration/coordination experience
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
