Lead, empower, and make a difference in our communityThis is an exciting leadership opportunity leading our Environmental Health Team in a permanent, full-time role based primarily in our Thames Office.About the RoleThe Environmental Health Team plays a critical role in ensuring public health and safety across our district.Key responsibilities include:Food safety and compliance, including the registration and verification of food businesses and Food Safety Officer duties.Health Act inspections, covering premises registered under the Health Act 1956.Alcohol licensing, assessing and reporting on alcohol licence applications and manager's certificates.Public health investigations, addressing general health nuisances and compliance issues.As Team Leader, you will oversee workload management, mentor your team, and personally conduct verifications of businesses operating under a template food control plan.
