Add expected salary to your profile for insightsDue to the upcoming retirement of our current Part-time Trust Account Administrator, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Trust Account Administrator to join our long-established property law practice.Benefits of the role:Work within a small, friendly, supportive team in a role that values your contributionGain valuable experience managing a trust account and handling key financial processes working in a professional environmentPart-time work hours that support work/life balance needs (such as someone seeking a role within school hours, etc)Offices conveniently located outside the CBD with parking close byCareer development, training and supportHandover support is availableCompetitive remunerationKey responsibilities include:Receipting/posting of client paymentsSetting up bank paymentsDaily processing, balancing and reconciling of the trust accountReporting to the Trust Account PartnerEnsuring compliance with the Trust Account Rules and RegulationsClosing and archiving completed filesGeneral office and accounts administrationThe successful candidate will have:Proven experience as a trust account administrator or in an equivalent roleHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailA good understanding of accounting principles and financial processesExcellent organisational, time management and communication skillsA professional, friendly attitude with the ability to work well in a small team of legal professionalsSome experience with the Lawbase and OneLaw Practice Management Systems and knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering compliance would be an advantageWork hours:Hours of work will be set in consultation with the successful applicant but are likely to involve 15 to 17 hours per week, Monday to Friday.The role and hours of work could be expanded to suit a candidate that has the relevant experience in Trust Account Administration and as a Legal Secretary/Assistant, Law Clerk or Legal Executive with the ability to assist with work on client files.About us:Established in 2002, Rolton MacDuff, Lawyers is a long-established property law firm offering a range of property, business and personal legal services.
