All three businesses are owned and managed by the same leadership team and share streamlined payroll and accounting systems.Our companies deliver high-quality products and joining us means being part of a dynamic and supportive team dedicated to excellence in the manufacturing sector.We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team.
This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations.
If you are proficient in Xero, Excel, and have a knack for precision, we'd love to hear from youKey Responsibilities:Transaction Management- Post receipts, process invoices, and record financial transactions.- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable.- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable monthly.- Complete monthly bank reconciliations accurately and within deadlines.Reporting- Provide information for the balance sheets, financial statements, profit and loss reports, and stocktake reports.- Collaborate with accountants to provide quarterly and annual financial reports.Payroll and Taxation- Calculate pay and deductions for employees.- Complete PAYE, GST, and income tax returns.Transaction Coding and Query Resolution- Code transactions accurately.- Resolve account queries efficiently with our team and customers.Key Requirements:Extensive experience with Xero accounting software.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Proven experience in Accounts payable/receivable and general accounting tasks.Ability to travel between two of our sites in Christchurch.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration aligned with experience.Monday to Friday role, 8am - 4.30pm.Associated benefits of being a member of the Motor Trade Association including discount card and EAP program.Full training and transition from our current Accounts Administrator.A friendly and helpful team.How to Apply:If this role sounds perfect for you, please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you're interested in this position.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?What drivers licence do you hold?How many years experience do you have as an Accounts Administrator?How would you rate your skills with Excel?Do you have experience using Xero?What is your salary expectation?
