This role involves leading a team of sales representatives and overseeing the distribution of VW Cars to customers.
The Sales Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating sales activities to ensure efficient vehicle movement.
Additionally, they must establish sales quotas and goals, develop training programs for sales representatives, and analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Develop annual sales and delivery plans for the sales team.Cascade sales objectives through to the sales team and define targets.Lead, supervise, and monitor the sales performance of individual sales personnel, taking corrective measures as needed.Measure staff performance levels according to retail sales excellence and company policy standards.Monitor customer preferences to optimize sales strategies.Coordinate with and support the Marketing Communications team in marketing activities, such as road shows, campaigns, and events.Job Requirements:Demonstrated experience in a similar role.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.Expertise in analyzing, developing, and executing complex strategic projects and departmental strategies to achieve business objectives.Skilled in designing, developing, and delivering tools and training programs across various retail/business disciplines to large, diverse audiences.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Previous experience in the automotive industry is a plus.We regret that only shortlisted candidate(s) will be notified.
