Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) - Wellington & Lower North Island

Who we're looking for: The objective of the role is to source new business opportunities from the dealer network by generating referrals from key dealer salespeople to achieve an individual sales budget.
A high touch contact program is required to be followed for dealerships and prospects in the territory of the BDM.
This includes the training of dealership sales staff on leasing and adoption of the FleetPartners quoting platform and other sales tools by the dealership.
What you'll be doing: Achieve sales targets through referrals from dealers, along with proactively managing a contact territory plan.Engage, educate and build relationships with dealer salespeople across all roles of a dealership.Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, dealer principals and other dealer leadership.Conduct regular training sessions on FleetPartners products and services, training and education.Find opportunities to create local marketing promotions, events or other promotional activities with the dealership.Be the key contact for each dealership in the territory and keep the wider FleetPartners sales and operations staff up-to-date with dealer group news.Manage the onboarding and adoption of the FleetPartners quoting platform and proactively influence dealers for adoption.Review and manage the quoting activity, online credit applications and usage stats for each dealership through Salesforce.Accountable for engagement metrics of the dealers in territory.Hunt for new business opportunities direct with small business prospects.Minimum Requirements: Advanced experience in B2B Business Development or sales role.Exposure to leasing, auto dealerships or automotive finance or other finance products.Knowledge and experience of the motor vehicle leasing industry is preferable.Experience providing sales or product training.Ability to analyse data on sales and customer feedback.Strong experience and demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high level of attention to detail.We offer: We are always developing our benefits for our staff, this includes up to 27 days annual leave, flu jabs, corporate discounts and hybrid working arrangements.We like to see our team grow, develop and succeed at FleetPartners; therefore, we pride ourselves with providing promotion and secondment opportunities.We like our team to enjoy their working environment and culture, we do this by quarterly recognition awards, office/ external events and by celebrating our core C-A-R-E values.Next Steps If you are successful in your application, then we will be in touch with you soon.
