Role Description
We are seeking two dynamic and driven Business Development Managers to join our team in Auckland and Wellington. The ideal candidates will be sales hunters who thrive on developing new business from scratch, sales people who "love the chase" and view cold calling as a challenge to be embraced. We are looking for sales people who can demonstrate a proven history in new business development. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, cultivating these opportunities into new business for the company, and nurturing these client relationships to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, networking events, and professional relationships.
- Maintain strong, long-term customer partnerships.
- Present and demonstrate company capabilities and offerings to potential clients.
- Collaborate with project management and technical teams to ensure client needs are met.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must be permanent residents or New Zealand citizens with at least five years of experience in business development within New Zealand and have:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the security, technology or construction sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated and goal driven with a focus on success.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, technology, or related fields are advantageous.
