Business Development and Marketing Executive Minter Ellison Rudd Watts – Auckland, North Island
We are looking for an energetic, enquiring, and competent Business Development and Marketing Executive to join our high performing Business Development and Marketing team - a well-oiled and proactive machine that leads, enables, and supports the firm to build relationships, win new clients, and boost profile. The role will support the BD and Marketing functions across our national operation, with offices in Auckland and Wellington. For the right candidate, the role can be located in either location.
This role is integral to the success of the Business Development and Marketing team and the firm - providing specialist marketing advice and support with a focus on external marketing channels and events. The role assists in planning, delivering and tracking engaging marketing and communication activities that support our firm's vision of being the firm of choice for leading clients and exceptional people.
Key responsibilities
Deliver digital marketing campaigns, including post campaign analysis and evaluations.
Identify engaging thought leadership topics and project manage the production of digital content such as podcasts, video, newsletters and other digital publications.
Support in the running of an effective pitch/proposal process.
Assist the National Events and Sponsorship Manager in the smooth running of an event end to end, including post-event analysis and follow up.
Key requirements, skills and experiences
2 - 4 years in marketing, communication, events and/or business development experience.
Tertiary qualification (preferably in marketing or communications).
Experience in project planning and producing high quality digital media such as podcasts, video content and other publications, while multi-tasking with competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to deliver high quality outcomes.
Ability to work with a variety of digital platforms to gain insights and deliver targeted campaigns.
Ability to build trust and strong relations, including senior executives, as the role will work closely with the legal team to deliver thought leadership events and support business development pursuits including pitch development.
Demonstrate initiative and drive - ability to achieve objectives as part of a designated plan.
Experience with Dynamic 365 CRM, Kentico CMS, Adobe Creative Cloud (Desirable)
Experience working in a professional services environment (Desirable)
