You will actively engage with them in a hands-on capacity and collaborate closely with them.Your tasks will encompass a range of activities including grocery shopping, meal planning, preparation and cooking, laundry, light cleaning, and household support.
As a Support Worker, your goal is to provide assistance so they can maintain their active participation in daily living, both at home and in the community.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Invest in creating a supportive environment for the family, focusing on their aspirations and independence rather than waiting for a crisis to arise.Support tamariki or rangitahi to go to school or access education.Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person.Support rangitahi/young people to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes.Tailor supports to the family's unique needs and goals, adopting a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of their life.Provide simple, flexible supports that the family can readily use to enhance their life.What do you get?
